Grow Talent In Partnership With Right Management

Gurgaon-based HR and talent management firm Grow Talent Company Limited has announced a strategic partnership with the one the world’s leading career transition and organisational consulting firm, Right Management Consultants Inc of the US, today. “The relationship will leverage Right’s global reach and capabilities, and Grow Talant’s proven expertise in providing superior consulting services to leading businesses in India,” said Anil Sachdev, Founder and CEO, Grow Talent Company Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion Glenn Heidenreich, Vice President Asia, Right Management Consultants said that Right has been seeking a partner in India for some time in order to get direct representation. This partnership is likely to enhance Grow Talent’s already strong portfolio of services and add a new line of businesses by introducing Right’s Career Transition services. Today, 75 per cent of Right’s global revenues come from Career Transition services

This being a relatively new area Grow Talent will leverage the expertise and methodology provided by Right. “The introduction of Career Transition services will benefit employers who understand that providing these services for departing and redeployed employees represents sound business practice and maintains the dignity and well being of the individuals leaving the organisation. Besides, this will help them elevate in the eyes of remaining employees and their external audiences,” said Mr Sachdev.

The idea behind providing these services is to help candidates identify their strengths which comes through a process of coaching and visioning and take responsibility for their careers. However, Mr Sachdev asserted that the Right methodology would not be adopted in toto. “They would be suitably amended to go with the local culture. He further said that Career Transition in the Indian context requires support in areas of individual visioning, coaching and in certain cases also industrial relations.

Grow Talent will benefit from yet another area of expertise that Right possesses— Organisational Consulting services. This is for employees staying with the organisation. Right’s expertise in organisatio- nal performance services include talent management, leadership development and organisational per- formance services. “The two lines of businesses manage the entire life cycle of their employees,” said Mr Heidenreich.

While the partnership will help Right get a deeper understanding of the Indian market, leverage Grow Talent’s management model and spread its operation to blue chip Indian companies, Grow Talent will get the advantage of Right’s global presence and brand, innovative technology and expertise in the areas of mergers and acquisitions.

Mr Heidenreich also indicated that India operations can serve as a hub for the firm’s activities in the Asia Pacific region.

Together, the firms claim, that they can shape the leaders of tomorrow through their complimentary offerings of assessing leaders, coaching them, developing leaders and their teams and leadership development e-solutions.

With India’s blue chip companies like Hindustan Levers, Larsen & Toubro, Godrej, Hughes Software and Dr Reddy’s Laboratory Grow Talent is aiming to fetch wider clientele with this partnership.

Headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, USA, Right has over 300 service locations worldwide and has 3,000 employees in 35 countries. The current partnership is only restricted to sharing each others tools, methodologies and expertise but Mr. Sachdev said he is open to Right taking a stake in Grow Talent at a later stage.
