The Great Place to Work® Institute, Inc. is a research and management consultancy based in the United States with international affiliates throughout the world.

Founded by Robert Levering, The Great Place to Work® Institute is dedicated to “Building a better society by helping companies transform their workplaces”. In addition to ongoing research, the Institute assesses the quality of a company's workplace by using a variety of tools, including the Great Place to Work Trust Index (Employee Survey). For more than 20 years the Institute has advanced the knowledge of what makes a great place to work; recognized companies to work for around the world; and helped numerous companies transform their workplaces.

The Great Places To Work® study conducted in India is based on the same model and methodology that is followed in carrying out similar studies in more than 23 countries, including the US and UK where the results are published in the Fortune Magazine and The Financial Times respectively.
